DANCE COMPETITION ADDS GROOVE TO OUR PRESIDIANS’ MOVES
Dance is a fantastic way to lose yourself in the vibrating rhythm of the music. Every dance performance is unique as every dancer is a unique being throbbing with life. Presidians of grade nursery and prep danced their way into the hearts of the audience comprising of parents, students, and teachers. The proud parents of the students witnessed the enthusiasm and energy of the vibrant students as they enthralled everyone with their performances. The day ended with appreciating the efforts of students and the parents followed by the Prize distribution.
हिंदी दिवस: प्रेसीडीअंस ने हिंदी भाषा का महत्व बखूबी दर्शाया
राष्ट्रभाषा हिंदी के महत्व- को दर्शाने के लिए बगला रोड़ स्थित प्रिसीडियम विद्यालय के प्राँगण में 4 सितंबर 2019 को ’हिन्दी दिवस’ पर एक विशेष सभा का आयोजन किया गया। सभा का शुभारम्भ सुविचार के साथ किया गया। इसके बाद विद्यार्थियों द्वारा समाचार, भाषण, कविता व प्रश्नोत्तरी के माध्यम से हिंदी के महत्त्व पर प्रकाश डाला गया। बच्चों ने मंच पर हिंदी के महान कवियों और साहित्यकारों के किरदार निभाकर सब का मन मोह लिया। इस अवसर पर स्कूल की प्रधानाचार्या ‘श्रीमती रागिनी मनसुखानी’ ने शानदार सभा आयोजित करने के लिए विद्यार्थियों को बधाई दी। उन्होंने कहा कि हमें हमारी मातृभाषा का सम्मान करना चाहिए। हमें हिन्दी का प्रयोग गर्व के साथ करना चाहिए। उन्होंने सभा में उपस्थित सभी को हिन्दी दिवस की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ दी।
15 MENTORS RECEIVE AN AWARD AT CHAIRPERSON HONOURS FOR TEACHERS
‘When your profession is your passion, then your passion directs it to excellence’.
Teaching is the noblest of all professions which is also the creator of all other professions. It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge. It is rightly said that appreciation is the biggest motivator, so with this belief, Presidium organized a special ceremony, Chairperson’s Honours Ceremony 2019 to felicitate the magical artists of every classroom, the teachers. It was led by our Honourable Chairperson, a proficient educator and a leader par excellence, Mrs. Sudha Gupta. The teachers were humbly honoured with prestigious trophies and certificates of recognition, for their selfless dedication and enhancing the lives of young children who are the leaders of tomorrow. In all, fifteen teachers were awarded from Presidium, Hisar. The event will always be etched in the memory of the teachers’ as it is a platform which recognizes their efforts and motivates them to perform in the best possible manner.
STUDENT PAY HOMAGE TO THEIR LOVELY TEACHERS ON TEACHER’S DAY

Presidium, Hisar celebrated Teacher’s Day with zeal and zest on September 5, 2019. There was an unusual excitement in the School atmosphere which was quite contagious. The students of grade 10 took over the duties of the teachers for the day. A special morning assembly was held in which the students paid homage to their loving teachers through poems and speeches. There was a special celebration for teachers which included foot tapping dances, interesting games with many prizes. The Principal, Ms. Ragni Mansukhani, addressing the entire school, lauded the entire staff for their exemplary contribution to the School. The Principal appreciated the sincere efforts of the teachers in playing a catalytic role in the holistic development of every student. Addressing the teachers on the occasion, she extolled the role of teachers in a student’s life.
WORLD LITERACY DAY: TO BE LITERATE IS TO BE FOREVER FREE!

The month of September marks an important international event - The International Literacy
Day’. The special assembly for the month of September was organized by the students of Grade 9 to educate all about the importance of literacy in one’s life. The assembly dealt with the reason and theme of celebrating International Literacy Day 2019 that is ‘Literacy and Multilingualism’. Embracing linguistic diversity in education and literacy development. Students presented a play to create the awareness on Importance of Literacy. To reinforce and assimilate the knowledge gained, an open quiz was conducted which made the environment very lively and interesting.
ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES PORTRAYED BEST AT POSTER MAKING COMPETITION
Poster is an artistic work, a less conventional way to present ideas. To bring out the creative expression of the students and also to gauge their awareness quotient, a Poster Making Competition was organized in Presidium School, Hisar for grades 4 and 5. The themes taken up for the above were ‘Women Safety’ ‘Save Water’ ‘Save Wildlife’ ‘Save Electricity’ and most importantly ‘Keep your city clean’. Students participated with immense zeal and enthusiasm and made very beautiful posters which gave the message of saving the important assets of nature for our future generations. It was a great opportunity to watch these young minds trying to create their ideas of a better environment on paper. The aim of this competition was not merely to see the creative aspect but also to trigger the thought process of the children and sensitize them towards these burning issues.
G.K.QUIZ COMPETITION: HOW STRONG IS YOUR GENERAL AWARENESS
To engage and enlighten the students, an Intra-class General Knowledge Quiz Competition was organized for Grades Nursery to 3. The Preliminary round was conducted by teachers wherein students were selected from each section for the Final Round. Teachers conducted the quiz in a very interactive way and the teams participated with great enthusiasm. They skilfully answered the questions. Though some of the questions were very tricky, the teams tried to answer them with confidence. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing, exciting and made the audience go gaga! The audience also got a chance to participate every time the teams answered incorrectly. The quiz comprised of oral questions, riddles, audio and visual rounds. The participants as well as the audience thoroughly enjoyed these rounds. The quiz was a great success and the children enjoyed!
PRESIDIANS REDEFINE SPORTSMANSHIP ON NATIONAL SPORTS DAY
The month of September marks an important event ‘National Sports Day’. A special assembly was organized by the students of Grade 9 in order to commemorate the birthday of Dhyan Chand, a legendary hockey player who brought glory to the nation by winning three Olympic gold medals. Every Champion was once a contender that refused to give up. To enlighten the students about the benefits of being healthy some exercises were conducted for students. The students presented a dance performance based on the theme of ‘Sports’. To reinforce and assimilate the knowledge gained, an open quiz was conducted which made the environment very lively and interesting.
STUDENTS CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF LORD KRISHNA ON JANMASHTAMI
Students of Presidium, Hisar conducted a special assembly on the occasion of Janmashtmi, the festival which celebrates earthly arrival of Lord Krishna. The assembly began with the chanting of the auspicious Gayatri Mantra followed by a beautiful thought from Gita Saar ‘Man is made by his beliefs, as he believes, so he is’. Followed by News headlines and a Quiz based on the facts related to Janmashtami. Children also delivered a speech in Hindi and English to remind the importance of ‘Krishna Ashtmi’. Krishna transcends the boundaries of all religions and preaches
the religion of love and friendship. To express their delight and zeal, students came dressed up in traditional attire and spoke about the significance of celebrating this festival. The students enthralled the audience by presenting a dance drama to depict the value of relationships. They learnt that it is very important to have faith in God and then self to succeed in any sphere of life.
SPELLATHON: PRESIDIANS WALLOW IN A WORD BATTLE!
Presidium conducted an Intra-Class Spellathon Competition to enrich the vocabulary, pronunciation and understanding of words, for the students of grades 6 to 9. Featuring multiple rounds like - warm up, jumbled words, similar words, guess the right words and the audience round, it was a fun-filled contest. The contestants were asked to spell words taken from Literature. The audience was also abuzz with excitement, cheering for their respective classes and trying to answer. The participants took part in the competition enthusiastically. They got an exposure to a world of new words and won accolades for their brilliant performances. Over all it was an enriching experience for the participants as well as the audience.
