BASANT PANCHAMI: INVOKING THE BLESSINGS OF GODDESS SARASWATI
‘Spring is in the air, fresh blossoms everywhere.’
Presidium Hisar celebrated Basant Panchami, the festival of seasonal, religious and social significance with great vivacity and joy. To mark the beginning of Spring season, a special assembly was organized to celebrate the blooming occasion. The school atrium vibrated with the chanting of mantras and Saraswati prayer ‘Hey Sharde Maa’. The students delivered speeches on the significance of the day and recited poems. As this festival is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the school also organized' Saraswati Puja’ in school premises. The students participated in the Havan puja with complete dedication and devotion. Prasad was distributed amongst the gathering.
The school partners, Mrs. and Mr. Satyanarayan Garg graced the occasion with their presence and attended the puja. The staff and students sought the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, to shower her blessings and show them the path of wisdom and knowledge. The school Vice Principal, Ms. Shalini Chaudhary, shared the significance of four hands and the two rides of Goddess Saraswati with the students.
REPUBLIC DAY: PRESIDIUM HISAR ENLIVENS WITH PATRIOTIC SPIRIT
We are thankful to them, who gave us a nation, a country where we live with great joy and passion. The occasion of pride and patriotism, Republic day was celebrated in Presidium Hisar with great gusto and zest. Happy republic day to all the Indians.
WINTER CARNIVAL: THE MAGICAL EXCITEMENT AT PRESIDIUM HISAR
The school grounds pulsated with scintillating music at the Winter carnival where there was dance, music, food, rides, entertainment and much more. The air was just magical and enjoyment was at its peak.
A winter carnival was organized at Presidium Hisar on 22nd January 2017 on the occasion of its first anniversary with the best winter celebration of its own. The carnival had everything right from food to entertainment, rides to games and merchandise including magic shows, tambola, colouring competition, live orchestra, lip smacking food stalls and live photo counter by Hocus Pocus was like a cherry on the top. Carnival stage was kept alive with some enthralling performances by the Presidians. These stalls were indeed a crowd puller. The zest and zeal exhibited by enthusiastic crowd of visitors and participants made the Winter Carnival 2017 a memorable one indeed.
OUR BUDDING SPORTS STARS PARTICIPATE IN INTER-PRESIDIUM TOURNAMENT
Celebrating the national love for Cricket, Presidium organized the Inter Presidium Cricket Tournament-Primary Boys: 2016-17. Every tournament provides an opportunity to the students to prove themselves and their potential.
Team Hisar left no stone unturned as they proved that dedication and hard work are the keys to success. They indeed proved that the desire to excel is what ignites the passion for winning. It was indeed a spectacle of brilliance and skills of the players.

HISAR HEROES 2016: PRESIDIANS WON THE SHOW!
Presidium, Hisar hosted an Inter School Competition ‘Hisar Heroes’ on November 26, 2016. This event brought the talent of Hisar on one platform. Mr. Mukesh Saini (JMIC) graced the occasion as the chief guest; Mr. Gurudev Singh Heera, Retired Director of Research and Agriculture (Punjab University) and Mr. B.P Singh, Ex. Engineer (CIRB, Hisar) presided over the event as the guests of honor. The competition witnessed 220 students from 25 schools showcasing best of their talents in the competitive events in different categories. Their enthusiastic participation made the event a huge success. The laudable performances by the students proved the statement that success lies in doing ordinary things extraordinarily well. The six participants who were declared as ‘Hisar Heroes’ in different categories were: Manas Goyal, Priya, Ananya, Shipra and Mahi, Shubhi, and Bhumika and Himanshu Rhyme Recitation, Coloring, Painting, Best Out of Waste, Dance(Solo) and Dance (Duet) respectively. The chief guest commended the creativity and enthusiasm of participants and said that these momentous occasions bring the schools together and inculcate a desire to compete and excel amongst the students. The Vice Principal, Ms. Shalini Choudhary delivered the vote of thanks and acclaimed the efforts of all the participants and the teachers for making the event a grand success.
FUTURE FEST 2016 AT PRESIDIUM HISAR
The mesmerizing aura of young Presidians and their talents were the demeanor of the annual extravaganza of Presidium Hisar. The celebration occasion was graced by the presence of our honorable Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta, an educationist par excellence and visionary with a difference.
The charisma of our young Presidians captures the hearts of all when they presented Krishna Stuti through which they paid obeisance to Lord Krishna. Presidians rejuvenated everyone with their energizing retro dance performance and portrayed the feeling of pride for their country. An array of scintillating dance performances mesmerized everyone; the parents went through an emotional rollercoaster. Ms. Neerja Chawla, Director, Presidium Hisar thanked the parents and staff members for making the event a huge success.
PRESIDIANS GIVE A WARM PLACE TO SPECIAL CHILDREN IN THEIR HEARTS
It was a time for the grateful hearts meeting their humble benefactors, when Sparsh students thanked Presidians for their generous contribution made for Sparsh. Presidians were overwhelmed by this warm gesture and greeted the Sparsh students with wholehearted fondness and adoration.

The foremost quality of a Leader is to be Kind. The leaders of tomorrow made their visit to Sparsh Special School on the beautiful occasion of Children’s Day. Sparsh students gave a warm welcome to the Presidians through their big and vibrant smiles that truly made our day. Students from Presidium, Hisar made their humble contribution towards the growth of Sparsh. Sparsh students gave a heart throbbing dance performance and set a mark in the hearts of the audience. Presidium, Hisar was acknowledged with the Certificate of Appreciation as a token of love.

Children's day and Guru Nanak Jayanti were celebrated with gaiety and fervor at Presidium, Hisar on November 11, 2016. The celebration began with a special assembly conducted by the teachers and the students. The students had a fun time seeing their teachers in a completely different and unique role. Teachers performed group dance on the song ‘Bum Bum Bole’ and true to its lyrics, teachers as well as students enjoyed their performance very much. Teachers also shared their views via thought for the day, GK questions, poems and speeches on the theme. Students of grade 7th enlightened the audience by sharing the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. A special act on Gurbani was also presented by them. The whole atrium vibrated with the religious fervor on the chanting of hymns and Prasad was distributed among the students.
The Vice Principal conveyed her greetings on Children’s Day and Guru Nanak Jayanti. She said that children are the future of the nation and motivated them to enjoy their childhood. She emphasized to follow the principals of Guru Nanak Ji.
LEADERS OF TOMORROW CROWNED AT INVESTITURE CEREMONY IN HISAR
The Investiture Ceremony, 2016, witnessed the young Presidians being honoured with prestigious positions in the school’s Student Council. The students, teachers and parents were congratulated on the joyous occasion and students were wished a bright year ahead.
At the ceremony, some of the coveted titles bestowed upon the students were - School Head Girl, Head Boy, Cultural Head, Sports Head, President Social Cause, Club Presidents and their respective councils. At the event, Junior School Council was also felicitated, thus giving learning and leadership opportunities at an even younger age. Presidians received the new roles and responsibilities with grace and dignity. The charismatic oath instilled confidence on their intention and capabilities. The decorated badges filled their hearts with both joy and gratitude towards their parents, teachers and school.
